Full Time Crop Consulting Agronomist

Innovative and service oriented agronomic company in Kinsley, KS is seeking a self-motivated person for a full time Crop Consulting Agronomist position to serve producers in South Central and South West Kansas. This position requires strong agronomic knowledge and skills in addition to the ability to develop and cultivate relationships with existing customers while expanding the customer base. Responsibilities will require in-depth agronomic skills, detailed crop consulting, soil sampling, insect and weed identification, irrigation scheduling, chemical recommendations and other responsibilities deemed by management.

The Successful Candidate Will Possess:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or other related field

Solid farm background or experience with agronomic skills

Knowledge of corn, soybean, and wheat crops; agricultural chemicals and fertilizer

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail and proven organizational skills

Computer knowledge including IPad usage

Ability to operate with little supervision

Willingness to work extended hours (60+ including Saturday's) to meet business demands

Outstanding work ethic

Physical ability to walk fields (10+ miles daily) in mud, heat and other adverse environmental conditions

Valid U.S. drivers license with good driving record
